Analytical, Critical & Independent (ACI) Thinkings for Journal Publishing (22 min.)

The 2nd module will unpack what analytical, critical, and independent thinkings are and how to operationalize them in the context of getting published in journals. It will discuss how, specifically, these abilities can help you ask probing questions (and answering them), stress test your write-up (be it initial submission, subsequent revision, or point-by-point response & rebuttal), and, last but not least, intellectualize your study findings.

Peer review is essentially a stress-test process. By stress-testing your write-ups before submitting them, you are helping editors & reviewers to help you! The stress test can be conducted by you, your peer(s)/colleague(s), and/or a 3rd party. This module will also illustrate how I have helped clients stress test their write-ups as a 3rd party and include examples of such tests.
